The Winkler Community Foundation (WCF) is a charitable organization that builds endowment funds to provide ongoing support for other local non-profit and charitable organizations in Winkler and surrounding area. The income earned by these funds is used to give grants to a wide range of community groups, while the original investment is left to grow generating more funds to grant in the future.

What's New?

There are many ways in which you can leave a legacy in our community. The building of the WCF endowment is an excellent way in which you can give a gift to the community that continues to generate funds for years to come.

WCF grants once a year.  Grant applications for 2009 are to be received by September 30th.

WCF Youth in Philanthropy (YiP) has expanded into two schools
    Garden Valley Collegiate
    Winkler Elementary School
The purpose of YiP is to develop leadership, and to teach and practice philanthropy.
